Our garden is a place where we hope you will find a moment to reflect on not only personal growth and nurturing but also that of all walks of life. Take a walk in the Labyrinth, a moment in the Tipi or enjoy all that mother nature has created.

Meditation Labyrith

Labyrinths have been around for over 4,000 years and are found in just about every major religious tradition in the world. They are magical geometric forms that define sacred space. To build a Labyrinth is to create sacred space; to walk a labyrinth is to permeate it with power and meaning.

Peace Pole

A Peace Pole is an internationally recognized symbol of the hopes and dreams of the entire human family, standing vigil in silent prayer for peace on earth.

Each Peace Pole bears the message "May Peace Prevail on Earth" in different languages. There are more than 250,000 Peace Poles in nearly every country in the world, dedicated as monuments of peace.

Every person who comes into our garden is invited to bring a small stone, a pinch of tobacco, sacred cornmeal or any other fitting offering to place at the base of the Peace Pole with the thoughts "I place here my prayers for peace and understanding".

Prayer Flags can be hung on the "Wall of Gratitude". As you tie the knot, silently offer your prayer and know as the flag flutters in the breeze your prayer is being sent out to the Creator. Prayer Flag colours represent the four directions on the Medicine Wheel.

Once a year we collect the prayer flags and burn them in a ceremonial fire, allowing the smoke to carry the prayers to Spirit.

The Tipi is representative of native values including respect, humility, love, faith, sharing and hope. It is our hope that you will discover these blessings as you sit in our tipi. Bear Spirit is the guardian of our lodge and we welcome you to share his strength.

Please tread softly though our Fair Garden. Our Fairies are very adept at keeping out from under foot but sometimes the very wee folk are playing and forget to watch out for the humans.

The Fairy Mailbox is an active post. If you leave a letter for the fairies they will drop off their reply in the store. Just ask if we have a letter for you on your next return.

Our Bottle Tree is near our Fairy Garden because we all know that Fairies LOVE shiny things and looking at their own reflection.... However the folklore of the Bottle Tree is that evil spirits become mesmerized with their dancing colors in the sun, and are drawn into the bottles only to be trapped for all eternity.
